KiKa: The fight against childhood cancer
Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death from disease among children in the Netherlands. KiKa is working towards better treatments, less painful therapies and higher survival rates. Through better diagnostics and treatments, the survival rate for children (0 to 18 years) with cancer has continued to increase.
Yet a large group of children remain with the most difficult-to-treat tumors and a very poor prognosis. "Only together can we achieve the breakthroughs needed to cure all children with cancer, with optimal quality of life," said Prof. Dr. René Medema, Chief Scientific Officer of the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology.
Rebel Cactus: For a healthy future
We are here for children who want to explore, move and grow. Our GPS children's smartwatches give them the freedom to play outside while you're "nearby. Not every child gets that chance, which is why we want to work with you to support KiKa in their important work.
