On Wednesday afternoon, June 12, 2024, we will make the Netherlands one big outdoor playground again! Every year Jantje Beton organizes, in cooperation with children's channel Nickelodeon, the National Outdoor Play Day. And this year we participate in this great day! In doing so, we also draw attention to the fact that not every child can always play outside.
Together with our partners Kidiyo, GeoRockers and Toverkast, we are creating a day full of fun, adventure and of course, lots of outdoor play! Jump, run, and laugh along in the Theo van Goghpark, located in the heart of Amsterdam IJburg. What can you expect on this day and will you come too?
Activities.
- Edutch games: Relive the classics! From sack races to sidewalk races, let the competition begin!
- Tinker workshop: Make your own bracelet, participate in the coloring contest or color the giant World Atlas together!
- Photo contest: Take a cool action photo of the day and who knows, you might win the BIG play package worth €230!
- Litter Scavenger Hunt: Help keep our park clean, and collect the empty cans and banana peels.
- GPS Smartwatch: Put on your adventurous shoes, try out our smart watches and explore the park!
- Topography game: Test your knowledge of the world around us and discover new places in an interactive way.
