About Rebel Cactus
Our story
We're the founders of Rebel Cactus and we're parents ourselves! Our 6 year old son was always playing outside: building huts, skating, fishing, riding his bike, playing soccer. When it was time for him to come home he was nowhere to be found and the daily search party began! One day we thought, how great would it be if he had a watch that we could call him on. But a watch specifically designed for children. With a cool design that was smart, fun and could do more than just make calls. And that's how this adventure began...
You will now find really cool children's GPS smartwatches and accessories with us! With this, the parents are always in contact with their tech savy children at all times. And that allows kids the independence and confidence to explore the world through their own eyes! Each kid at his or her own tempo. Thousands of children and their parents have since discovered us and are Rebel Cactus ambassadors!
The team
We work nationally and internationally with a passionate team on product design, product development, websites, marketing, sales and customer support. Globetrotters, just like our small and large customers. From this network organization we are involved from start to finish in all our own products and we stand for individuality and quality.
We share the same ambitions and curious and creative mindsets. From this great network we are able to further shape Rebel Cactus in the coming years and to become a leading player in Europe.

I grew up among the bulb fields and played outside a lot as a child. With neighborhood kids, ditch jumping, catching and releasing frogs, fishing, playing soccer, walking the dike with the dog, a big Newfounlander. I was an Outdoor Boss yes.

What I like most about Rebel Cactus is that we work as a team and pick up everything together and involve and support each other. What inspires me is together with my colleagues shoot for the moon with Rebel Cactus and discover the world!

I am a second-year Game Development student at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam and am doing an internship at Rebel Cactus. I would like to contribute to the mission of playfully bringing technology and education together for children.

Advisory Committee
Children move less and less and spend more hours behind a screen, at school and at home. As a Cesar exercise therapist, she increasingly saw young children with pain, posture problems and poor motor skills. This led her to develop Sit with Pit! in elementary schools. Meanwhile, there are workshops for teachers, theme nights for parents and Yolanda enjoys giving lectures on this so important subject.
Together with Yolande, Rebel Cactus discusses how together we can contribute to a healthy, happy and resilient generation of elementary school children. We share the latest insights and trends about the digital world and healthy screen use in children. We further tailor our contributions in products and services accordingly.
